Turn on No repeats to get a list where every number appears only once. For example, 5 numbers from 1 to 20 will never contain the same number twice. This is useful for raffles, assigning turns, drawing seats and building a random order. If you ask for more unique numbers than the range allows, the tool tells you how many are available.

Turn on Allow decimals and choose from 1 to 6 decimal places. For example, a range of 0 to 1 with 2 decimal places can give you 0.37 or 0.82. Decimals are handy for science projects, simulations, test data and games.

The Lotto 6/49 button picks 6 different numbers from 1 to 49 and sorts them. The Pick 3 button gives you 3 digits from 0 to 9. These are just for fun. Lottery draws are random, so using a number generator does not make winning more likely.

Every number in your range has an equal chance, and earlier results do not change the next ones. Getting the same number twice in a row can happen when repeats are allowed, and that is normal for random numbers.
